HE USED THE CITY'S FEDEX ACCT

Mayor Mick instructed the city clerk to overnight an election ballot to his niece in Denver just prior to the May 2009 election, using the city’s corporate FedEx account.  Included in the mailing was a prepaid return FedEx form so she could send the ballot back at the city’s expense in time to be counted.  Mayor Mick later reimbursed the city, however the city’s code of ethics states that use of city assets for personal convenience is allowed only when the use is occasional and considered of little value, and as an example cites use of the copier.  READ IT
